Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does a hamster appear when I start the program?

A: The hamster symbolizes the way people tend to waste their disk space. They collect thousands of useless files until their computer does not respond anymore. Okay, that's apparently not the way a hamster behaves but ... I just liked the picture.

Q: Why did you put your ugly face into the About window?

A: I was 17 when I started to write this program. You do weird things at that age.

Q: Where is the delete function?

A: There isn't any. And there won't be any probably. The Disc Space Reporter is supposed to be a viewer.

Q: Why is it called "basic version"?

A: May-be I am going to write a "full version" and earn millions of dollars with it :)
